Active Goodness is the remarkable true story of how three British heroes saved thousands of endangered Czech men, women, and children from the Nazis at the beginning of World War II.
When university lecturer Doreen Warriner visited Prague in the winter 1938, she was appalled at the sight of so many suffering people, all desperately trying to flee Hitler's death squads. Along with others including Trevor Chadwick, Nicholas Winton, they organised the evacuation of over 7,000 people in under ten months, putting themselves in huge personal danger.
